Level 2 Award in Upskilling Door Supervisors
So you have worked as a Door Supervisor and you've got your qualification prior to January 2015, you may need to take this top-up course in order to renew your Door Supervisor License.
If you re-apply without this qualification the SIA may send you a Security Guarding (Blue Badge) license instead of your renewed Door Supervisor license. If you currently hold a Security Guarding Licence and you would like to upgrade to a Door Supervision Licence and have sat a Guarding course after July 2012 you may be exempt from the first day of your Door Supervisor course with SSG Training.
Up-Skilling consists of two mandatory units the first one being Safety Awareness for Door Supervisors and the second being Physical Intervention.
SIA Course Length: 2 days;
Anything else just wouldn't be compliant.
