Course Overview

The APLH qualification is required to apply for a personal licence to sell alcohol in England and Wales. The law states that anyone authorising the sale of alcohol is required to hold a personal licence issued by their local authority.


Who should take this qualification?

The APLH is aimed at managers, assistant managers and supervisors or staff seeking to attain one of these positions. Everyone working in a job role that requires them to authorise retail sales of alcohol in England and Wales must complete the APLH course in order to apply for their personal licence.
